That new alternator should accept the original factory screw.
hey great video i just put a new alternator in my 87 iroc, everything went
fine until the last bolt, , the last bolt is the one on top that adjust the
alternator to tighten the belt, the original screw wont work for the new
alternator because it goes in nice at first but then stops and starts to
miss up the threads in the alternator, any advice of what size they usually
are? metric, standard? i used a 5/16 screw which was the original screw
from the previous alternator but cant now with the new
