Installing a Pontiac timing cover and water pump on a Pontiac 400 requires a little bit of mechanical knowledge since you do need to check gaps on your water pump divider plate. Installing a timing cover itself is a rather painless process however, we did remove the alignment pin to avoid filing new parts.
