POOR PEUGEOT – ABANDONED, NO BRAKES, ABS, POWER STEERING, CAN I FIX IT?

This Peugeot currently has no brakes, no power steering, and no ABS Can I fix the faults and try to get the car moving again.
In this series, we will try and get this abandoned 15-year-old Peugeot 207 cc 1.6 diesel back on the road. It’s been left to rot in a garage for the past 4 years And then left outside for another 11 months. The owner wants me to fix all the faults and hopefully sell it for a little profit. It’s been left to me to get this abandoned Peugeot 207 cc back on the road. This is a totally different project from what I’m used to but I think it’s going to be fun.
Don’t forget to subscribe to my channel to be in with a chance of winning the TOPDON diagnostics scanner 10k and I will be giving it away.

its very common for the roof seals to become perished on convertibles, just a tip is to use some silicon spray around the roof seals to help with the sealing of the roof properly, also check the roof drains to make sure there are no blockages as this can also be a cause for water ingress, especially as its been stood outside for a while, i have a C70 convertible and the roof drains can get blocked up really easily from leaves falling into the gaps. i am not sure where they are on this car but sure you can work this out! great video btw!

The best thing is to use the s1 in my experience people much prefer to buy a car that is on the road and taxed

John Callaghan says:

Great update and great progress – agree with earlier comment on fabricating an insulated, but ventilated cover for the Jenny (you might even consider installing a couple of PC cooling fans (set back to front and powered from the Jenny, so they become vent / exhaust fans) into the box? – given that you want to start spraying, you might also want to think about a heater / heat lamp for the unit – sparaying outside, or in Winter should be avoided!

Glad to see subscriber numbers edging closer to the 10K, and I hope we‘re all continuing to spread the word for you – I certainly am!

For the brake bleeding, does the Topdon not have an assist function to “auto-bleed”?

Great vid, keep making progress, keep your chin up, and keep ’em comin‘!
