Glad I came across your video. That fuse box is the biggest joke I have ever seen.I dont know if its the same on a left hand drive car, as there are so many sockets connections for the wire loom which are hiding the fuse box. Just a very bad design. I looked inside and thought there was no fuse box until I found your video. Nice and detailed description.

Hi.I have a dashcam with parking mode that requires permanent 12v as well as ign feed 12v. Peugeot has a timed power off after say 30mins – got to find a permanent feed in fuse box (3008 2018) I assume I have to sit in the motor probing with meter till economy mode activates…???

My 308 GT Line fuse board is completely different to what’s on the manuals/online – I’ve tapped a 3A fuse and if I unlock the car/lock it powers the fuse board and dashcam comes straight on.

Great video. I'm wanting to fit a dash cam with a parking monitor which needs a permanent live on a 3008. Any ideas as to which fuse?

Ronan Georgin says:

Thanks for the clear video. I have a 2015 3008 and cannot find the right fuse. The camera does not switch on and off with the ignition. Anyone can help?

A ViLo says:

Which fuse would be best for a Peugeot 207? I put it o. F9 for the back windows but didn't work. Please let me know if you could help. Thank You.

If I am confident of using "F7" fuse 5-amp slot – do I have to do the multi-meter test? Or no need?

makaras says:

Great video! I have a 2009 year Peugeot 207 – for the Fuse piggy-back lead thingy (I think you called it a "Spur"…), do I need a "Standard" one or a "Mini" one?

Also I plan to use the F7 "Accessory" 5-Amp fuse slot to piggy-back off, i.e. the one that controls the [Front and rear courtesy lamps, map reading lamps, sun visor lighting, glove box lighting] – is that ok to do?

Ben Morse says:

Is it the same setup for the Peugeot 2008? I'm struggling to find videos on how to install a Nextbase mirror dashcam on a 2008.

Redember Black says:

some goes for 3008. The fusebox layout is a pain in the ass to service. Screw the French designers!

Colin Nixson says:

Excellent. I was dreading this job on my wife's car but your video made it a 20 minute doddle! Thank you.

Michael Hands says:

Many thanks for this excellent video, I successfully fitted a dash cam to my 2017 308SW yesterday following your instructions & tips. I would love to meet the person who designed the 308 fuse Box.
