Torquing the 7mm water pump retainer bolts to 28 Nm is surely going to end in tears. Perhaps 18 Nm?

Just an excellent and informative video. The music mildly annoying and a bit too loud.

Feras Khousrof says:

– So I bought an ignition coil from Autodoc in March. After a while I realized that they delivered me a defect part, since I started having trouble with the car again, and the mechanic checkup showed ignition coil failure.
– I contacted Autodoc for warranty application, but applying was a strain. It was time consuming to gather the information they requested, and their online portal was a strain that wouldn’t accept my car information.
– Autodoc provided me with a list of information and documents to submit with the application, which I did. But A FEW WEEKS LATER they emailed me saying that my receipts were missing information and I needed to submit new ones in order to continue with the investigation. This missing information wasn’t at all mentioned in the list of info they gave me. So now, wasting weeks of waiting time has been done on my own cost! Even though it was their fault!!!
– Autodoc made me pay around SEK1400 ( apx. €140) at a mechanic just for taking a picture of the dismantled part.
– Normally, Autodoc warranty cases take up to 8 weeks, as per their terms and conditions.
– I submitted my application in June 21st, and they confirmed receiving it and all documents (didn’t say a word about missing information by then)!
– My last contact with Autodoc was on August 12th, confirming that they got the corrected information, and that they’ll revert ASAP.
– Today September 12th, it’s been 12 weeks since I sent my warranty application (June 21st). Haven’t heard from Autodoc yet! (Must be 8 weeks max in terms and conditions).
– Since the start, I’ve had this feeling that it’s a systematic way to get me fed up and waive my right to a new, functioning ignition coil as well as compensation for costs I had to pay as a result of the defect part!
– Bottomline, this company is a scam. Don’t buy from Autodoc!
