Mojo really loves engine work and in order to branch out our offerings I thought we should do a budget engine “rebuild” to try and make a couple bucks by cleaning up an engine and checking it over and fixing what needs replaced. Why do you feel the need rundown other channels to make yourself feel better
you took it all down and didnt put a new cam & lifter kit in it? not a rebuild at all.
Nothing like the sound of an old school V8.
I don’t know why, but the modern V8s found in Mustangs, Camaros and Mopar products of the last 10yrs. Just sound odd to me. Guessing it’s the cats, type of muffler and resonators?
Sort of robs the V8 staccato I grew up with in the 60s and 70s.

Looks like you have not only a good friend in Mojo but one hell of an engine builder. That Olds is a runner, clearly.
You might think about doing a budget rebuild or 'refresh' for a tow rig engine. You may well have a sustainable sideline business, yet a beast with an RV cam could be quite helpful.

Thanks for the content on the 403 as there isn't too much out there. I just bought a 78 Olds Toronado with a 403 with only 58000 miles and she runs like a top! I wonder if the silent glide timing set in mine is starting to go as well…… Great channel!!
