2001 Oldsmobile Intrigue ABS Light/Blinker Light diagnosis

2001 Oldsmobile Intrigue ABS Light/Blinker Light diagnosis

GM has 2 different types of ABS sensors. One type is where they integrated the sensor into the wheel bearing. This OLDS Intrigue has this type of sensor and they are a pain in the butt!! I also diagnose a bad electrical connector for the blinker light

I diagnosed my ABS/TCS issues on my 2001 and the wire has gone bad that connects from the ABS pump module to the wheel hub sensor (1 wire looked like an overcooked turkey in the oven while the other wire is in good shape). Gotta order some wiring harnesses or go to the junkyard and get one off of an Intrigue.

I think you should consider moving to up here to Spokane. I know 3 people besides myself have a Intregue. And all 4 of us have different issues. I just took my ABS bulb out. I was tired of looking at it. Doesn't appear to have any affect on the car. By the way another great video about the Oldsmobile Intregue. ✌️

lots of great info ! Good job. I have a 2002 Intrigue, and the turn signal lights have been really screwy. I just replaced the entire signal arm which also serves to turn on the headlights. Now, when I turn off the car, and remove the key, all the running lights stay on. This wasn't occurring before, so I am guessing I did not hook up something correctly, or I now have another problem. When I go anywhere now, I have to remove a battery cable to keep the lights from running down my battery. Any help would be appreciated. 🙂

Do you still have this car and what state did you register this car?????

I also have a 2001 Intrigue. I inherited it from my grandfather. It has 38k on it. It was garaged and driven once a week. It was maintained very well. On occasion the turn signals don't work, or they blink quickly. It's an intermittent issue. Any ideas what can cause this?
