Thanks for the awesome video but you gave me bad news that I have to take the dash apart to replace the radio :(. My radio comes on, stations light up, antenna works but no sound at all and only 107K on it. 30 years old though.

Awesome vid. My new old Olds 98 Regency might have to do the same thing and get a donor car. Don't suppose you know where to get NINETY EIGHT emblems ??

question: is there anyway to install the digital cluster dash by uninstalling this one that comes in the late 80s 98?

Breaker, breaker! Love that CB. My parents 1978 Cadillac Coupe DeVille had the CB radio option. We would turn it on when we were on trips, then the swearing would start on the CB, and my mom would make my dad turn it off! HA HA HA Love this project!

I enjoyed the video. I have done similar things to my Oldsmobiles. I have a 1995 Ninety Eight Regency and a 1992 Oldsmobile Toronado. I was thinking back when I swapped the radio for an upgraded GM stereo and changed the cluster. I do have one small correction. It is Oldsmobile Ninety Eight Regency. It is not Delta 98. The "Delta" prefix is from the Eighty Eight. The Delta Eighty Eight became Eighty Eight Royale. I also feel you on the placement of the screws and bolts. That is smart. You like me know a lot of the parts are inter changeable. I have Eighty Eight/LSS/Regency parts on my Ninety Eight because GM/ Oldsmobile used them on the 90's Oldsmobiles( Ninety Eight, Eighty Eight, Toronado). You know your cars. Good video.
