1985 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442 Parked for 22 years! Will it Run?!? G-Body!!

A friend purchased this 1985 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442 in order to use the interior for his Hurst Olds Cutlass and to part out the rest. Lets see if we can get this thing back on the road after 22 years of sitting abandoned in a field because of a “blown up” engine! If you need parts off this car hit me up with an email and I’ll see if Swappy still has those parts! mortskerepair@gmail.com

Puddin's Fab Shop says:

Then that air compressing turd woke up from its dream! The Tow-rolla is the champ!!! I noticed you used a $40K piece of equipment to roll it in your shop! That ford probably couldn't tow it even after it aired up the tires!

jraabsicknasty says:

Dang seems like you might’ve heart Puddin’s feeling with that comment lol. Only real buds talk crap to each other like that. Love you guys, I appreciate you both for taking the time to make our lives a little better for a couple hours a week.

Ahhhhhh. Love the G bodies. Such beautiful cars when they’re done right. Had an 86,84,82,79 the 84 had a 307 took me back and forth to Fort Macmurray, Alberta.

Boldaslove Seventy One says:

My neighbor had a very similar car back in the day. His was V6 as well and he called it the gutless cutlass.

Orbit says:

so sad to see that these cars weree left to rot in the first place

darryl campbell says:

Richard Juarez says:

metal442maniac says:

Did you ever sale that 85 cutlass?

differentgroove1 says:

Man I wish I still had my 86' 442 t-top,. Love to have another one to take her place . Possi traction, she catches 2 with no problem. My friend was out dogging the crap out of her and threw a rod threw the oil pan. I wish I didn't let him talk me into letting him keep it for a day ! Live and learn.

Hunter Spitz says:

I would pay your buddy $2k for that car with the interior but it might be to late now it’s probably already stripped

William Jones says:

What did he do with that thing really not all that bad I’ve seen a lot worse saved that’s for sure

Douglas Collingwood says:

Originally 442 stood for 4 Barrel 4 speed manual trans and dual exhaust How can they even call it a 442

EDDIE LEAL says:

Useless trivia! Did ja' know…. the 442 did not have a 442-cubic-inch engine. Instead, the numerals indicated that the car had a four-barrel carburetor (atop a 330-cubic-inch V-8), a four-speed manual, and dual exhausts.

Susan Broussard says:

Putting t tops up I thought did he put anchovies on that 1st pizza?

madthewirdo says:

Mr Mortske, on any given episode, I have been entertained watching you suffer, just like me, while taking apart, undoing, or otherwise fixing old junk. the fact that you suffer or experience discomfort has not essentially been the entertaining factor, rather, I took solace in the fact that I was not the only poor bastard that dropped wrenches, got fluids all over the place and otherwise had an old car make a complete fool of me. More solace taken in the fact that I was not the only one who could look past the rust, darts, gooed up seats, filth, sweet sickening stenches, acorns, wiring about to explode, foolish trifling repairs etc This car was way too easy to bring to life. I wish you well in your endeavors, thanks for all the videos.

Cory McEwen says:

I don't think you could get V6 on 442.

meme mcloafskate says:

I would buy it if it where still in one piece

Darbaz says:

0:49 hhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Allstylin One says:

Too bad that one is taken a dirt bath, Could have been worth a decent amount w/ all the paperwork w/ it.
