I have always been one to change my own oil! This is a fairly simple task that can be done in under 30 minutes and saves you tons of time and money from having to go to a mechanic to do it! This is my wife’s 2016 Nissan Pathfinder and for this vehicle specifically, they recommend an oil change every 5,000 miles. So it roughly costs me about $90 a year to do it myself. Whereas if I went to a mechanic, it would be at least $375 a year! So learn to do it yourself so you can save some money!
