why are you guessing and replacing bunch of parts instead of diagnosing the car properly?

Jeanene Wilson says:

I have the same vehicle. Having same overheating problem and planning on changing the water pump. Already replaced the thermostat/housing and replaced radiator. Also 6 month or more I noticed that it was no longer starting right up quickly. It turns 5, 6, 7 times before it cranks up. Changed the (4) 02 sensors to the tune of almost $500. Didn't change anything. Any ideas. Also if the water pump doesn't solve the overheating problem then what?

Rich Touchet says:

Nissan made some changes through the years. I'm working on a 2010 Xterra and the fan shroud on mine completely encircles the fan. So the fan has to come out before the shroud can be lifted out. I'm having to work through the slit to get to the bolts holding the fan onto the pulley. The factory has them so tight that two of them rounded off (10mm) and I'm off to get the vice grips. I just wish they'd snap off as I'm replacing the bracket that holds the bearing for the fan. And it comes with new studs.

Justin Lewis says:

Ry, my 2010 Xterra has been overheating for a while now. I replaced my heater hose assembly, radiator cap, and thermostat. It stopped leaking, ran good for 24 hours and then started overheating again only now spitting out of the reservoir spitter tip. Do you know why this could be? Also now it is jerking when I reach 40mph, please tell me what you think I might be facing? How much is this going to cost to fix? This car makes my life move. I have nothing else right now.

MrRick0707 says:
