At what mileage did you perform this?

F0SEYTUBE says:

Disconnect the battery first while doing this, it won't reprogram your throttle Idle, etc.

Illuminati Vaccine says:

Boy, that's a lot of work just to access the plugs, glad im driving Hyundai, no need for me to be a mechanical surgeon for simple things.

What Is This says:

Just completed this project on my 2014 Nissan versa note. Good video, really helpful. But ran into a couple hiccups that I wanted to share with others.

Definitely had to take the throttle body off the intake manifold before removal. Just wasn't happening without it. No big deal.

The intake manifold bolts should be torqued and in a particular order. You can find all that in a repair manual. I found some free PDFs on https://nicoclub.com/archives/nissan-versa-factory-service-manuals.html You need the "EM" file.

There is also a process for resetting the throttle body. Also in the repair manual at the end of the intake manifold section.

The ignition coil boots need changed out. Easy to do, but you should do it while you're in there. Other videos on YouTube show you how.

Couldn't have done it without this video. With a toddler asking for my attention constantly and having to go back to AutoZone for a new socket, it took me about 4 hours including the test drive. Not great, but I was taking my time.

I do also recommend checking that you have the right socket with your new plugs. Never could find a spark plug socket that could fit the wide wall plugs that fit my car. I'm sure there's some online. Ended up using a deep regular socket to start and finish the plugs. In the end no big deal.

Oh and the gasket replacement is easy. Snap out, snap in. Get Nissan gaskets though.

Thanks for the vid! I use your videos all the time to do my own maintenance. Saves me so much money.

PracticingLiberty says:

It took 10 minutes to replace the coils and plugs on my Sentra. Now this. I am definitely done with Nissan after this insane hurdle to routine maintenance. (Thanks for the video though.)

Gabriel Morales says:

Great video. Thank you. Going to tackle mine next week.

Richard Pedroza says:

What torque are the intake manifold bolts?

zhbvenkhoReload says:

You guys disconnected the Throttle Body– I am sure if you do that, you most likely have to reprogram the idle.

Architech of The Apocalypse says:

Is there a gasket on the intake manifold?

Mike Keller says:

Thanks for the step by step, looks like a three hour job.

superlukage says:

Says "Replace these gaskets", doesn't show replacing the gaskets.

John pacatang says:

When we need to change the spark plug?

Lennysunday says:

Wheres the 4th one?? Man all this for some damn plugs this is gonna suck .. Lol .. Thanks for the video!!
