Just wondering how long you let the rtv adhesive set up before you torqued the pan bolts. I just did this job and used the same adhesive (Permatex 85084?) and the instructions on the can say assemble parts finger tight, let sit for an hour, torque to spec, let sit 24 hours before subjecting it to fluids.
