I have a coworker who has a 2016 rogue that has a stuck active grille shutter. She took it to a shop and the shop says that the dealer needs to sync the new one with the car. Is this true? It makes no sense why that would need to be synced, seems like it would receive the signal from the ECU and just do it's thing.
