Just replaced the thermostat on my 06 Quest yesterday, what a royal beeyoch. Did not watch a vid prior, just went after it. Funny thing is that after watching this excellent vid today it was like an instant flashback. I did everything exactly as this guy did with one exception and a very important and time saving move. There is no need to pull the engine mount bolts and jack the motor up. Instead, it's much easier to use a 12 mil socket with a long extension and drive that hex head tension pully adjustment bolt downward. Thats the one that sits in front of that third and lowest bolt on the thermostat neck. It travels down and by turning counterclockwise. This creates just enough clearance to get a socket with a short extension on that lower hard to reach pesky bolt. Hope this little piece helps the next person out.

Hi I have a 2009 Nissan murano and I'm wondering if I need to replace hoselines, thermostat and radiator cap when I'm replacing a radiator?

My garage is saying they have to pull the dashboard off too replace the thermostat and radiator on my Murano. Are they screwing with me ?

Justin Bustin says:

Wow only took expansion tank and fuse block out the way. Yes bottom bolt is a bitch but can be done. Also radiator doe not need to be drain. Just yank hose off and you'll loose some coolant buut not all.

Thank you. It appears to be a process that involved.

Hello,
I have a quick question . Now my 05 murano is leaking antifreeze from somewhere up on top and I am not finding any cracks in hoses or housing but it iscoming down from where the aluminum band is crimped around the top piece to the radiator. Now keep in mi d that it is not spraying out crazily just dripping out enough to empty the resevoir but the radiator stays filled. Now what could that issue be and how costly would it be to fix?

AR76 says:

Hey. My 03 Murano is blowing cold air when I stop and blows hot air when I need it when I accelerate. What’s wrong?
