Im about to do this to my Altima, After putting the silicone on, should I also run a bead of permatex/gasket sealent on the block surface before putting the new cover on???
Recently did this to my vehicle and it still stutters the same with no check engine light also checked if it leaked again and no leak

Replaced oem valve cover to fix leaking seals around #1&4 spark plug tubes. Now #3 leaks. Replaced cover 2nd time, #3 still leaks. Do I need to pull the #3 tube out of the head and reseal?
