You may need to swap the wire harness from the old door into the new door

Usually there’s no adjustment on them. They typically attach to the door
handle. You could remove the door panel on the other side of the car to see
how it attaches to the handle if you are unsure. Hope this helps you out.

Thanks for the info do you know if putting back the door handle rod is
easily accessible for the passenger side?
i will try i tried last night but its too dark. wen you open the door from
inside the plastic piece slides down and opens the door. but on the outside
the rod pushed the plastic down but if the rod tip isnt in the hole it
slips and pops away. Thanks
I brought a 2005 Nissan sentra door and i have a 2001 4 door but I’m having
problems with the switch now I noticed that the door I purchased has 3
plugs and I have 2?? Any help is this door compatibile? Please n thank you

The steps are similar but of course because of the body styling changing
since then, the bolt position and the attachment hardware will be different
but the concept is still the same.
