Hey Mike, to compress the caliper piston back into its bore would you have open the bleeder screw to prevent back-flow into the master cylinder? Is it really necessary?
Very helpful.. Thank you
Not unless the brake pedal is really hard or very soft.

THANK YOU!
If you can start to feel a lip or an edge form from wear along the outer edge of the drum brake then it’s time to change them. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
Do the drum brakes also require changing? If so, how often?
You could use a Vise Grip clamp too, if you have one of those. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

We currently do not have an auto repair video that shows this particular repair. We’ll keep this request in mind in the event that we need to make this repair in the future.
