After watching your video and seeing what mine might look like on the inside (2013 Murano), I simply drilled a hole through that area and secured with a nut, bolt and a couple of washers. Works perfectly.

Just drill hole out put a screw and nut, tighten

I fixed mine with your video.. I used a very thin and long nidle, minute 1:01.. slide it from the side under the darker piece (I had to hammer it).. Thanks.
