What size ratchet did you use to remove the bolt? Great video. Thanks!

Temachok says:

Unplug positive battery connector and wait for 10-15 min or honk for few seconds to release remaining electricity from capacitors. Reconnect the battery. Code should go away. If not, then most likely you need to replace crankshaft positioning sensor as well.

Hello, I just replaced the camshaft sensor. I got the new sensor from Autozone. But still the service engine soon light is on. My troubleshooting code is P0340. The people working in autozone told me that after driving certain 30 miles, the light go off. Is it right? Thank you

Temachok says:

It looks like you’ve got a different problem. It might be oxygen sensor got clogged up and needs replacement. Run the engine code reader to find out error code and description.

the dealer name is .nissan of queen. its in rackaway blvd .near jfk airport!!

bryan yanes says:

where in queens ??? i live in queens…i got a crankshaft sensor for $80 in the nissan dealer in jackson heights returned it and got it from another nissan dealer for $60 in far rockaway but for both cam and crank but this ones look plastic

Temachok says:

That is one reasonable Nissan dealer in NYC Queens man!

Temachok says:

Thats what it’s call stealership for….
You could get it for ~$40 from eBay. The only thing I liked about dealer is that they get the part number by your VIN, not just year, model and engine size. If you shop on eBay, you’ll notice sensor part # has few different variations.

mrbest4eva says:

yah man.only $85 for both .i got it from nissan of queens.ny city

bryan yanes says:

really! ? i paid $80 for just my crankshaft sensor at a nissan dealer i got ripped off!

Temachok says:

Absolutely agree.
I paid $65 for each at Nissan dealer, but it worth it. Works perfect now!
When I first got the aftermarket part from eBay, the problem came back within 2 hours…

mrbest4eva says:

nissan part its way better and its about the same price as after market i got both sensors cam and crank for $85 buck from nissan dealer!!!
