The plug is attached to this black hanger you need to get rid of. Then you press it up, not down to detach the plug.
If you can do it. I guess I can too. For my 2017 Frontier. It will probably take me a long time though.
thanks for this! took off the side mirror when trying to back out of the garage in my dad’s 2018 frontier .. this helped so much, saved me a few hundred bucks, and it was so much easier than I thought. you rock.

Thanks again. All done. The toughest part was pugging in the power for the mirror. They could have made life a lot easier if the wires were two inches longer.
