Unboxing, installing, and first impressions of the Rockville Audio SS8P. This little sub packs a punch, the size is amazing for someone who wants to add a little bass but also save a ton of space or have a discreate sub install. Let me be clear this does not come close to the dual 12″ or 15″ Subwoofers I have had in the past, but compared to most stock systems this is way better. Have this mounted under my driver seat gave a nice centralized sound stage for the bass, and the gain control knob allows for adjustments mid song.

Thanks for taking the time to watch this video!
How did you connect the 18 gauge power wire from the amp harness to the 10 gauge power wire?
Where did you get the adaptor ? And will this work on a 2020
I bought a Kicker RCA adapter to tap into the speaker outputs in my 2018 I got last month, and have yet to install it. I had no idea there was a factory harness adapter! I have a similar radio but looks slightly newer than yours. Checking the listing on Amazon, it looks like it's the same thing, just "prewired" for convenience. I have two 10s in the hatch just sitting there, but they take a lot of space. I may actually consider an under-seat subwoofer, but I already have an amp, so maybe I would the sub under the passenger seat.
I put one of these in my little '99 Dakota pickup last year. Definitely helps to fill in that much needed bass.
Good video, very helpful Thanks Jarred!!!

What adapter wire did you use for the rca ?
