This is not a ductless heat pump! This is a Mitsubishi system that is like a wolf in sheep’s clothing. For all intents and purposes, this is what the industry would call a “unitary” system. Except its not…its complicated. Anyway, it goes in the “mind blown” category for now. Mind…Blown!!! 42,000 btus at -5 F?! Not funny Mitsu, you are giving the Americans nightmares.
Umm $30,000 for a 3.5 ton system? Someone is a rip off. The material alone is between $5500 -$6500. Mitsubishi Electric is amazing but that installation shouldn’t have been more than $15,000.00 my goodness
Purchased this unit a year and a half ago. Outstanding equipment.>>>nub.best/rtq7 My handyman and helper installed it in a small 2 story shed I converted to a sewing room and exercise bike. Cooling capability is perfect in Arizona heat. The heating portion takes a little longer to warm this space but it is adequate. Compact, unit is mounted outside in monsoons and summer with no problems to date.
No returns needed in each room?
My god that view!
Too bad it's not installed in the building envelope, wasting a ton of energy.
Lol, 63 degrees in the winter. Hilarious $30,0000? Lay down the crack pipe.
$30,000 install. OMFG
I thought hyper heat went down to -13*
does not look like 30k dollar ductwork to me…
How many kWh does this heat pump/air handler use per day?
The air handler is probably worth 3k the outdoor condenser is probably another 3k how does this add up to $30,000 hvac install?
30,000 wow must have a lot of money lol by looking at ur house it’s seems like you are a rich guy.
