Thanks i was about to spend over $300 to fix my T.V. and my ex-husband told
me to google up how to replace an DLP after we had took the T.V. apart from
front to back, we watched your video and removed the lamp and now i’m out
of pocket $120. :))

Rebecca Jenkins says:

You could had let the kids sleep another 5 minute and pull the TV a little
more to show detail … of taking it out and in stalling it !

ICE-COLD HEINEKEN says:

my PhillipsDLP60PL9200D/37 Lamp need to replace but i cannot locate it can

SouthernGirlBliss says:

Thanks. Replaced my bulb for my Mitsubishi TV. Got the housing unit for
43.00 from Amazon. Free shipping and a 1 year replacement plan. You can’t
beat that!!!

John-Isaac Jeffries says:

Actually I did not. I read on the online manual to the tv that it does not
have a timer. I need to call mitsubishi directly and see if they can help
out. I will post again if I get a solution

GamerQueen95 says:

i hav the same problem and same tv did u ever find out how to fix it?

wu89ninja says:

Easton your an idiot. Your the type.of person that family and friends hate
won’t go to a family get together bc of your presence

dopehouseprince says:

how much does the DLC lamp cost for a Sony. i don’t know the year but it is
a pretty old tv. video is so helpful but i need to know a price or where to
buy it?

scarekrow9 says:

You’re saving money by not paying an electrician to change the bulb for you.

spaghetti2021 says:

instead of making it a race, can u plz take ur time and turn th tv all the
way around so we can see

TehLivingDeath says:

Not only did he do it in 3 minutes, but it sounds like the poor guy was
battling a cold as well.

uagrantc says:

Thank you for the great video, my Mitsubishi 65″ went out on me last
Sunday, and I watched your video then, opened my TV and ordered the
replacement lamp and housing, and now I’m ready for the Texans to whoop the
Titans this Sunday…Thanks, you saved me about $150…:)

Steven Gladstone says:

@Easton21 Dude, Timer started when the guy said beginning now – which is
when he started changing the bulb. Then the timer stopped once the bulb was
finished being changed. Did you want the timer to run over the end credits
as well? All the other bulb changes I’ve seen on the web condense the time,
this is the actual running time. 3 minutes and 5 seconds from “starting
now” to when he powers up the TV.

Steven Gladstone says:

@yakult244 Next, going to change the screen on my iPhone 3G. Whoopppeee
that will be fun. After perhaps, how to sharpen a pencil. 😉

DealNews says:

ah, he’s cute!

Wildthing1984 says:

you got screw i bought my lamp 50 $ on ebay

Jsmith858522 says:

I think $100.0 a minute seems reasonable lol

John-Isaac Jeffries says:

Does anyone here know how to reset the timer. I have a 73″ mitsubishi DLP
model #73732. I already replaced the bulb but the timer light keeps
flashing several times each time I want to turn on the tv? I’ve seen on the
Internet things such as; holding down the power key, and the two channel
changers on the control panel for 3 seconds until the status lights blinks
twice. But I tried that and the problem continues. Any suggestions?

oTehFeed says:

i have a question, my viore 42″ hdtv is really dark when its on, i
unplugged it while it was on and it made a wierd noise then i turned it
back on and it was dark, when i watch tv and not play video games its white
and really bright can you plz help on what it is

2004mojo says:

I bought one from Shopjimmy on amazon.com. The bulb with housing was $60.
The lamp I got from the authorized dealer was $155! My Shopjimmy lamp has a
1 yr warranty. The tech gave me only 3 months and labor was $100. I had an
extended warranty which did not cover replacement lamps! Shopjimmy also has
a youtube video showing how to put the bulb or lamp in and a number to call
for problems. The bulb with housing is only $20 more than bulb only. Make
sure the seller is Shopjimmy.

Jeffrey Heiserman says:

You can get one for as low as $81, plus about $6.50 cash back (free cash
back program) through my website. Contact me directly and I’ll shoot you a
link.

Easton21 says:

You started the “three minute timer” at 30 seconds into the video, and it
ended at 4:15. Why did you slow the timer down? Is it really worth hitting
the three-minute mark (which he didn’t btw) by lying? That really pisses me
off. Thumbs down.

Scott B says:

If the switch on your power strip is like mine it only cuts the hot side
and not the neutral. If the outlet happened to be wired backwards, 120
volts would still be getting through even with the switch off. Even the
neutral side can have some voltage present. Unplug the set instead.

Scott B says:

You’re welcome. It also occurs to me that you’d never know if the switch in
your power strip was wired incorrectly and switching the neutral instead of
the hot.

Toto Tojo says:

Hey i need a bulb for a Panasonic pt-56lcz70. Where can I get one from/

linsbakery1 says:

I have a Panasonic PT-52LCX15 and when we turned it on there’s a green
circle in the middle. How do we fix this?

Dakota Wallender says:

the Timer Ruins The Whole Vid:(

Villie Jones-Wilson says:

Thank you so much for this video i don’t no what had happin to the TV it
when out in a red light came on in it said Lamp AND THE TIMER BLINKING on
the TV IT COME ON BUT NO PICTURE IS BLACK SCREEN WITH SOUND THEN THE TV GO
BACK OFF WITH THE RED LIGHT ON AGAIN IN THE TIME GREEN LIGHT BLINK

KiaSOUL2012 says:

This was definitely helpful

Easton21 says:

@veenotph Dude, get a stopwatch and time his “three” minutes. And then tell
me how crow tastes. His timer was slowed in order to meet the three-minute
goal. It’s simple math really. If he starts it at 30 seconds into the
video, it should end at 3:30 into the video, not 4:15. Duh. God I really
hate having to explain things like this to people who are so quick to call
bullshit before they even bother to test the concept.

Freemantrue says:

Just brought a bulb for my TV , and it was 37 bucks with a warranty .

makeitrain247 says:

Soooo… Did that automatically reset the timer for warranty purposes or
did you just pop that lamp in? If they ask you how many hrs you have on the
lamp will you get the correct time so you can claim it under warranty? If
you missing a step, since you don’t mention model or brand I’d say you
doing viewer a disservice….

Jeisa Marjorie says:

This is not for any TV. My hitashi is different way..

Steven Gladstone says:

This guy, he never shuts up does he? Maybe he’d finish in two minutes if he
didn’t talk so much.

Tad Simons says:

Hey man, what do i do if my replacement won’t fit

lee strickland says:

i learned sumthing nu how to take the bulb out the tv first time doin it an
this vedio got me right thank u for the nu knowlage an understandin an also
savein money bcuz im short on it right now!

1492bito says:

good video..but timer on the screen is running slower. Thx for the info. I
ordered my bulb for my old sony…$120…express shipping included. Thx to
this video I’ll spend ZERO on installation.

Steven Gladstone says:

@Scottcom36 That’s good to know, thanks for pointing it out, Ill have to
check. Of course allmy outlets are wired correctly, and i would never flip
the ground. . . 🙂 Thanks

clara17uk says:

i saw a guy fix a bulb with a guitar string, somewhere on you tube for a
projector

PeloneT247 says:

this helped me alot! I finally have my tv working now 🙂

Jeffery Morse II says:

would it be the same on a mitsubishi wd-60735?

Brian Bautista says:

How about uploading a video showing how to change the color wheel or LEDs
if you have a LED DLP? That would be helpful also.

Steven Gladstone says:

Respond to this video… Dude the timer begins when the guy says “Starting
now” and ends when he powers up the TV. What you wanted it to start when he
says Hi, and continue until the end credits. Gee whiz, he didn’t even
pre-open the bulb box, and stopped working to explain things. It was a real
time thing, all the other videos like this I’ve seen condense time, this
was not condensed.

Almir Karadza says:

is it a mitsubishi
