Excellent video!!!! I found this tv on the curb, remote and all! Plugged it in at home and had the white dot issue. Ordered a dlp chip from shopjimmy and I had a $180 65" tv like that!!! Been watching daily for 2 years with zero issues. I'm now confident from your detailed troubleshooting that the bulb I just ordered will get me back in business! Thanks again! Gotta love YouTube. Can't beat fixing something someone threw out!
