What about the second set of wires for the illumination of the radio
I’m having trouble with this. I have everything connected right, the head unit turns on and works, and I can wire it to an external speaker and it makes sound but when I wire it to my car speakers it doesn’t.
I wish I could've seen the part where you fight with the brackets to get it to fit right.
Have a link for the no wiring harness??? Lol. I’m going to install the same stereo into my lancer… assuming that it also helped keep the steering wheel controls functional??? Was not looking forward to having to do that so if it does sweet

Did you have the Rockford Fosgate system or just the basic system for the Lancer I just bought a Lancer and has the Rockford Fosgate system that's why I'm asking if you had to buy anything else special because of the Rockford Fosgate
Where did you buy the wire harness from?
Does this also works with stock rockford fosgate stock audio systems?

I’m trying to install a Sony xav-ax1000 in my 2011 lancer cj, what iso adapter and connector did you use? I can’t seem to find the right cable that connects the car harness to the audio. I got an app9sp4 but that only connects the head unit but doesn’t connect to the car. Any advice would be good

Thanks for the video. Looks pretty doable .Are those facia things symmetrical(doesnt matter if left hand, right hand drive)? Aliexpress route + sourcing my own headunit + installing myself = lot of money to be saved compared to if u get the shop to do it for u.

Do I just order a double din dash for my 08 lancer on eBay? What size radio should I get? There's 6.2' 7' etc..
