Water leaks are not the fault of the the air conditioner. Its usually the way the drain has been installed, or a blockage in the pipe somewhere. Only use a wet-vac if you’re going to suck out the blockage, & its best to do that from outside rather than taking the unit apart!! Keeping filters clean will ensure that minimal dirt carries over onto the coil. its the dirt that causes the blockages. Taking casings off is not an easy task. They’re delicate. (I’m an aircon engineer) Call an engineer out
such design is just bound to lead blockage.
i have problem pulling out the pipe out, there’s no opened area like yours. looks like I’m able to flip up the entire machine, but i afraid the whole part gonna falls off from the wall, as i dunno how it mount to the wall….

Frigidaire. Perfect – but there is a water collection point where the hose is attached to. Just take a thin wire and push it through or straw or short hose and stick it at the outlet and blow! Enough gunk there to clog the toilet!

Hi Abby, not sure about your aircon unit. The idea is to get out the gunk that is blocking the drain pipe. I just use the vacuum, because the pro aircon guys use it too. Not sure what else would work. Good Luck
Couldnt find the screws..mine is an Acson 2hp unit…and besides vacuum cleaner is there anythin else u could use?
