I removed my alternator thinking that I needed to replace the alternator. I took the battery and alternator to O’Reilly’s Auto Parts to have it tested and to have my battery recharged, because my battery was being drained. I was sure the alternator was bad because I got a battery recently, and now the energy was being taken from the battery its self and the alternator wasn’t charging my battery. It turned out that my alternator passed the alternator test, but my battery was bad… AGAIN!!!! My battery was replaced for free. I show how to remove an alternator belt.
