Did you end up figuring out anything. I have the same exact problem on the same exact engine. Same year. Please let me know. Thank in advance. Eric 619-504-2900

I have the same motor, same year. Seems to be a time out issue also. How did you read the code, and can you share the parts kit you used? I can't seem to find them. Aldo do you think it could involve the regulator? Thanks for the great video

O J says:

Low pressure time out is usually a faulty float switch

CAUTION guys!! Were working with fuel, remember to disconnect the battery and make sure no current is around as there will be fuel… When I bench tested I made up good connectors with long wires so I was not holding the pump as it still has fuel in it and I could imagine the spark from touching it to the power source lighting up that fuel. My pump shot fuel about 6 feet and hit my wife's car… shhh.. So I was outside using my truck battery, pumps on the ground pointed away from me, long wires. No joke, my neighbor killed himself when he turned the key on his center console "outboard" boat last Halloween, I have a new respect for fuel and current, we all should.

Please Subscribe, thank you. Fault from Vessel View was 3075-28 "Electric lift fuel pump Timeout" This is the low pressure pump. It can start complaining because you did not vent your tank, you have a weak pump, you have a leak and therefore it can't fill the FSM tank, you have a bad float switch that is not telling it to stop and therefore it times out to prevent burning it out and or pumping out too much fuel and because the computer has a timer on it to stop it after a bit. You may also have a pinched fuel line, blocked line, blocked filter, fuel line liner deteriorated and plugged things up, fuel pick up strainer is plugged…

Pump kit to include both high pressure pump, low pressure pump and regulator, $220 Highflowfuel, Ryan extension #8 was very helpful. Again, I have no benefit or affiliation to these companies, just trying to save folks time. There might be better options elsewhere, its just what I did at the time.
