This video is my install of a tilt trim switch on my 1998 Mercury 40 HP Force motor
The 40 and 50 hp motors are identical. The only difference is the jet size in the carburator that u can switch out to convert to a 50 hp
The manual trim woks on my 80hp Mercury, but the trim switch on my throttle is not working. Any suggestions?
How do you add a trim gauge with that and otherwise excellent video thank you for your help
Follow the blue /green back from the solonoid. Dont hook to first plugs theres another pair after those
There are connectors blue/green connectors that run under the carb. Can plug in there and then just run a hot wire from thethe fuse side
