Ann Frank says:

Is there one that will fit on a 1985 Grand Marquis

MrGgarcia7298 says:

Aren't the throttle body bolts supposed to be stretched 90 degrees??

Smokr - the pedantic bastage says:

LOL Makes as much change in perfomrance and power as switching to LED headlights does. Actually, by removing the vanes you destroyed the vortice flow and decreased the air flow and density. You probably lost horsepower and torque by cutting those out. And the spacing does absolutely nothing. In fact, if anything, you want as short a length of flow as possible, not make it longer.

Daniel McQueen says:

Fun video, was laughing my arse as you were cutting your thumb off… Sorry, the fins off which actually helps airflow to make the turn thru the TB! I've left mine alone on my 05', Ford Engineers designed it for a reason. But if you want more power out of a stock 4.6 then ungrade the injectors and get a tune for it

Dustin Stephens says:

Fat women in the back seat doesn't help with performance but the airbags help rear end sag!

New Edge Designs says:

It’s a placebo spacer…

Tum Yung says:

another $50.00 snake oil wanna be racing part.

JayDeePLUS BEATZ says:

You can't modify the Throttle on 05 and newer platform vehicles without tuning your Computer. I say Can't meaning you Can physically do it but you can make your engine run weird and funny for not tuning afterwards. But 04 and Old you can slap this on without a tune.

Antowne Mercer says:

I did this to my 05 Mercury Grand Marquis and added a K&N Air Filter. I use Premium 93 gas. I'm not sure if any horsepower was gained but the throttle is instant.

Chuck Hallowell says:

In the beginning, you show two (2) fiber gaskets that came with the kit. Also, there were two (2) bolts in the kit.
If you had used the gaskets that came with the kit, you would not have needed to buy those longer bolts.
You wrecked that comb for NO REASON — you should have saved it to put back in because that Throttlee Body Spacer is WORTHLESS on the Panther's fuel-injected engine.
I'm sorry to see that you wasted your time and money on that stupid spacer.
I KNOW it's a stupid waste of time and money because I DID IT — and the results were awful !!
I'll be glad to sell you my BEAUTIFUL (but worthless) "TAYLOR Helix Power Tower Plus".
It advertises: "Pays for itself at the pump!" — "Up to 4 MPG Gain" — "Up to 22 Horsepower Gain" — "Torque increase up to 25 ft./lbs."
NOT ONE of those claims was even CLOSE — Total bulls**t !!

Martin Search International says:

How will you test the outcome of the investment for hp?

Vacairri Patterson says:

What store can I purchase the part?

Jason joncas says:

That oem gasket is doing the same thing that spacer is doing it swirls the air like a tornado. The theory is tumbling air is more efficient has more molecules of oxygen than a straight air shot and it flows around corners better. I have a 2007 F150 with the 5.4 installed a Poweraid spacer the same theory applies the bore of the spacer has a coarse thread milled in to it promoting a tornado affect. Oem head design has also adapted this calling the tumble effect the air effectively swirls from small dams cast around the intake valve this mixes the fuel with the air in a homogenous mixture aka 100% efficient. Does it work I did notice more torque off the line but full throttle no difference the airstream moving too fast at higher rpm ignores the outer stream swirl. That gasket that has fins protruding filling 30% of the airflow will work over a broader range of rpm. In a nutshell if you have no finned gasket you may find no difference if you dont in the lower rpm range these things shine.

Jerry H says:

Where in the instructions do they tell you to get out your Dremel murder and destroy the plastic spacer

Jerry H says:

Have you ever heard the word air turbulence The reason that that's there is the smooth the airflow out through the throttle body is not for you to just destroy it do you think that they spend millions of dollars of research so that you can take a dremel motor and destroy the part that they put in

Mark humes says:

I have a 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis,Ultimate Edition 4.6 V8. My gueston is can a throtle body mod be instald on my 2003 marquis?

Aron Bennett says:

That's a sweet Corrado up the street.

Large Larry says:

I hope you realize that the throttle body is already bolted to a 5" long 90-degree spacer from the factory.

abel21ist says:

Put some 4.10 gears in the differential and a sct tune and You will see significant horsepower increase
