I'm going crazy trying to get the impeller to line up with the key… I've been at it for hours. I don't know how anyone gets it right away

Awesome!!! I need to disassemble, clean, and reassembled the carbs on my Merc 50…is that next? Lol!!
Question….if the sending unit hatch on your fuel tank isn't glued down with some kind of red atv sealant would that be enough to make your motor not idle? It runs great on the open water, but won't idle for more than 15 seconds.

9.8 110 merc is a good small motor. I worked on my son's and went through it.
