I recently bought a 3,1 from someone who had upgraded the GPU and installed Win10, so I have no video output. I'd like to get a cheap 8800GT for it but I'm concerned the EFI won't detect it – so should I go for the stock Radeon instead?

Very useful video. 🙂 One thing baffles me, though: why did you remove and replace the graphics card? It doesn't appear to be getting in the way of anything else you're doing – or was it removed to avoid electrostatic damage?

On mac pro 2,1 it’s working?
