What a mess. If the manufacturer specifies a capacity of 200 mil, just put
200 mil of fresh oil back in through the top hole.

Scott Williams says:

If you plug the lower drain hole and try to fill from the top you end up
with air-pockets and the internal case pressure prevents you filling at a
steady flow rate, you will struggle to get the adequate amount of oil in.
Manufacturers instructions specify filling from the bottom so this is an
easy solution.

Thanks for a good DIY vid

Taylor Fagin says:

Good video. Put just a little advise, if you put the top screw in after you
add the oil, there will be a vacuum created and no oil will come out of the
bottom. It’s a lot easier than putting the screw in the bottom while oil
comes out. Good video again!

Danny Fernandez says:

Why wouldn’t you just put the bottom screw back in and pour the oil in the
top hole?
