Thanks for posting this video, I'm about to do the same job (including replacing the passenger side fender too) on my father's 2001 Sable. He's 82, and just gave up driving. Now the car is my project / toy. I intend to use it in the winter; as a front wheel drive car it was always way better in the snow than my regular vehicle, which has rear wheel drive. Now I have an attack plan on how to properly get the front bumper off. Again, thank you!
Where do you jack the car up? What's the safest spot when doing this?

Very helpful video, I'm actually looking to buy a mercury or a Ford taurus and do some custom body work on it, replacing front and back bumpers and add wings and trunk spoiler to it. I'd like to see a video of custom parts put on like this.
