Shes looking better!! What a beast!
@WhoSaidTyler Tyler did you see what was in the 8-track player? Sometimes I
have made believe it was actually 1979 when driving this car and listening
to the 8-tracks.
i have for sale shop manuals covering body engine and electrical for 1978
ford mercury nice shape also have them for 1973 mercury broughm
How often do you drive this car? I might be picking up a 2004 Crown Vic P71
in the next few months… I love how these big cars ride.
another car saved from scrap awesome
@retrochad Haha, I didn’t. But, it’s like me and my Bonneville…when I’m
inside that car it’s ALWAYS 1978 ๐
It’s great to see that car still running. When that thing rolled out of the
dealership, the movie GREASE had just came out, The Bee-Gees had 3 of the
most popular songs, and the Jacksons urged everyone to just “Blame it on
the Boogie” ๐
@vwestlife Thank you! I really need to polish them though!
You’re welcome, Chad. Speaking of the fan shroud, I have the factory shroud
to send you, but I waited you out until you got the taillight installed
first. ๐
Hey, you know what would be cool? if you rigged up some sequential turn
signals like on the late ’60s Thunderbirds! Your tail lights have the 3
bulbs in them, so it would be perfect.
i hope you clean out the Grand Marquis nice job done
Wow! Nice job Chad! The old Grand Marquis is looking pretty good.
nice! good job man
The paint and body look in really good shape, and I like those custom
wheels… it almost gives a “sporty” appearance, if such can be said about
a Grand Marquis!
have u ever thought about restoring this car fully
@bimjales Thank you! I am feeling a lot better than when I made the video.
The late 60s Cougar had them too I believe
