Here is how to replace your ball joint. The job is so much easier with the right tool. A Mercedes Ball Joint Press can be procured for less than $60 (including shipment) from eBay as of March, 2020. The ball joint is $20 from FCPEuro. An electric impact in the U.S. from Harbor Freight can be purchased for $35 or so. This will save you a lot of time you would be otherwise wrenching to press the old joint out or the new one in by hand. In this video, I am showing only the ball joint replacement to avoid making a long video. To get to the ball joint, you will have to remove some other suspension components first.
