W210 E320 Catalytic Converter and O2 Sensor DIY Replacement

W210 E320 Catalytic Converter and O2 Sensor DIY Replacement

This job can easily cost thousands at a dealer or mechanics shop. But, you can do it for the cost of a third party converter or two (I found the one in the video on eBay for less than $600/a pair). If you hear a rattling sound in your exhaust system as if a rock or loose metal is hitting the insides of the exhaust pipes as you drive AND event at idle, then most likely one or both of your catalytic converters are damaged. There are many other causes which I discuss in the video that can also damage a converter – with age being the number one culprit.

Thank you and SALAM brother for a very informative and valuable video.
I have the same vibration problem in my 2006 MB sedan E350, W211 base model. USA.
My driver side seat right side shakes when car is idling or running at 2200 rpm and higher. I replaced all spark plugs, air filters, engine oil and filter thinking it may be a misfire or two (no misfire codes tho)
Using an OBD tool and TORQUE pro app, I noticed that my bank 1 S1 and bank 2 S1 is not working.
And Catalyst and O2 sensor is not available means Cat. Bank1 S2 and Bank 2 S2 is not responding.
Please advise or your thoughts where this vibration is coming from from? And what to fix.
To me it may O2 Sensors, but I am not an auto mechanic.
Waiting for your response.
Best Regards
