@kornkid8600 its the radio, i went to my local future shop and had them
install the radio, all for under 100$ canadian, since then the crackling
went away, i even took apart the radio and cleaned up all the connections,
and switches, and it didnt help, so ike i said i put in the aftermarket
radio and it was fine. another problem i had was involving the fan speed
switch, it was stuck in the 1st speed location, i fixed that too, so if you
have any problems ask me mayby i have fixed it ?:-)
If the clips are completely broken off, the radio should slide right out.
However if a portion of the clip remains under the front of the radio, you
may have access with a small screwdriver and then pry it away from the
radio while pulling the radio out.
My fan switch will only work on high in my 1989 190E any ideas
