Thanks for step by step instruciton man it's really cool. so after watching your vidoe, I went ahead and bought and received ambient light kit for my glc (which shares same interior with w205) but DMP actually sent me different version (they say its newer version). It doesnt have OBD port but I have to tap the wires to ACC to get power for center console ambient and footwell light. Can you a make video for it? or tell me how its done? like where to find acc and stuff. Looks like DMP cant really help on that. im just not familiar with wiring and i dont wanna mess up my car's wiring. kinda frustrated to receive a product different from your video. thank you

But your car original didn't have ambient light so wouldn't you select no ambient light?

What about the ambient light in the centre mirror and the lights in the footrest for the people in the back. Is there also a kit?
I had a much cheaper kit ($300) installed professionally but we had to get an obd programmer cartridge to load up the ambient lighting software. How come you can control yours with the steering wheel only and without installing any software? Is it because it's connected to the obd port? Will it not work if it's unplugged?
