Yes,6 (six) litres oil is needed.Othervice theres not enough oil in the
engine. Just put six litres and oil is in the upper level on the stick.No
more than that!! Dont never over fill…Use always Mobil 1 products 🙂

I have the same engine fitted to my jeep patriot! hand book says 4 litres
yet does not register on dip stick level. put another litre in and just
registering. you say 6 litres are required yet I only saw you put 4 litres
in. I have ran my engine to circulate. I now wonder if another litre is
required. could you confirm 6 litres did go in? cheers
