is this Pentosin fully synthetic?
Per Mercedes-Benz, this is not the correct oil for this engine. For the
M272 engines, you should be using an oil that meets the MB 229.5
specification, not 229.51. The latter is the specification for oils to be
used in the latest diesel engines.
Another tip, bring the engine up to temp. It will help drain any slug
build up. Or better yet run a sludge treatment before draining.
I order a great deal of suspension parts from you guys for my Mercedes
Customers. I actually own a mobile repair business and carry an 8 gallon
tank extraction machine in my van that came with adapters to fit the MB
dipstick tube. It is far easier and no chance of a spill or stripping a pan
bolt.
