Kyle shows how to replace your bad or failing crankcase breather valve. This video is applicable to all CLK and most C-Class models between 2003-2007.
A common source of oil leaks on M272 and M273 engines is the vent valve seal and the rear cam plugs. This kit includes the engine crankcase vent valve seal along with the 4 breather cover bolts and 3 expansion plugs that are required when doing this job.

this isn't an easy job on a W203 with a V6. i just did it today and there's practically no space to get your hands around. it took a lot of swearing and frustration to do
What is the part number for the 2004 clk500?
A informative & clear video on vent valve and plugs replacement. Very helpful !!
My vent valve and the 3 plugs are leaking bad. They were fine till I got an oil change and started to leak soon after. I recalled giving my mechanic 2 x 5 qt. cans of Mobil1 0W-40 and he telling me that he put all of it in. I did some research on the net and found out that the engine only takes about 9 qts. Regardless, I changed the 3 x plugs but the oil still leaks. I will now be replacing the vent valve but am afraid that it won't fix the problem either. If the oil still leaks, do you think I should ask my mechanic to remove 1 qt. from the engine?
forgot to connect back the left air tube to the filter box.
does failing crankshaft breather cause check engine light (obd2 code P0170,P0173)
I have an 09 e350. I assume this also needs to be replaced on my vehicle? If so, do you have the links to the parts??
