Kumho tyres on a merc?? Fault finding costs!! you gotta be f*cking stupid
to own and merc and pay for those charges.I’ll never buy a merc EVER! I had
a 1988 190E that was faultless,then i purchased a C280,it problems and
merc dealer charged £400 for fault finding on a wire loom,so it’ll cost
over £1800 all in for a new wireloom they said was “brittle at the ends” my
mate told me that his mate who worked on my car hardly worked long on it so
they ripped me off on the labour as it is!! I work in the motor trade and
this is a true story.

Now, I learn. Get a written estimate. If they charge for looking at a car.
Never go to that dealer again. Go to a local garage whom you trust. And
never buy a Mercedes-Benz, just buy a used Honda.
I love how you tell the stories, priceless! Mostly because it is ALL true
about those cars. They are beautiful cars for a 2 year lease and then give
it back because at about 2 years or 30,000 miles, everything on a
Mercedes-Benz starts to deteriorate. It’s really sad because these are
beautiful automobiles and for what customers are paying, they expect
superior quality, and that is exactly what they are not getting when
purchasing a Benz. Too bad. Keep up the great reviews my friend!

You cant take a car to a dealer and ask them to diagnose the problem, then
decide to not go ahead and expect to pay nothing. Can you really be that
stupid?? Do you really expect them to pull the car apart find the fault for
free!! Not hard to see life is all about image to you (the most shallow
kind of person there is). I mean sheesh, not hard to see straight through
you. Stop trying to make people think that you have cash when your nothing

I can find 1,000 people who will say German cars suck,and Mercedes helped

Mercedes tried to charge me for a complete rear tail light, when I was able
to pull the stuck bulb out of the faulty tail light with a pair of pliers!!!

When you go to buy a new car, look under the passenger seat. There is a
detailed list of the car, and also the price the dealer paid. Some remove
it, some don’t. it will show you the real rip off. They pay 1 3rd of list.
mercedes is easy to take the door apart its like 4 screws you can get the
switch on ebay from a crashed benz or the junk yard
Go to a reputable third party. Regardless of all the maintenence, every
time I pull up to somewhere and the entire valet area is filled with entry
level BMW’s Benz’s and Lexus’ its all worth it. Every time I pull up to
some punk kid in his piece of shit tuner car at the light its always worth
it. Same as every time I pull up to a 52 year old guy in a 2003 996 cab.
Worth every cent.
American cars suck, they’ve all gone bankrupt at one point or another, just
terrible reliability and functionality
yeah Archie I got a W140 benz and my mirror folding mechanism stopped
working and i try lubricating it and i was moving it by hand and broke the
gear it started grinding so i called mercedes to see how much a mirror cost
it was $1200 i bought one on ebay from a crashed benz same color $170 it
was a long time before i found it
American cars have come a long way… buy something that makes more
sense!!! I know a guy that no longer owns a Ferrari because Corvettes are
king!

Agree with you and would take it a little further and call them low class
pick pockets. To buy a new key for my SLK 320 , took a whole hour to just
order because they got a huge bs show you’ve got endure, I mean I had to
sign off on papers to give them permission to work on the car-FOR A KEY!
Not a whole ignition?! Then after you get the key they don’t instruct you
to start the car with the new key which activates it, no they try to pick
another 75$ out of your pocket for “programming”.
You cant afford to own a merc, its simple, buy a falcon, and stop whinging
and being a fuckwit. Get a second opinion if you dont like the price.
