M.D. F says:

I have a C200 kompressor year 2003. It has the battery alternator warning lights on. I already replaced the battery but the battery warning light stayed on. Checked the alternator, the voltage is slightly lower then normal, so I refurbished the alternator. It is now reading 14V and above. Battery voltage is also good. When checked for fault code, B1036 came up. It says, the input signal "circuit 61" is not ok. It is coming from the SAM-F. I have no idea what is causing it. Sometimes after starting the car, the red battery warning is on, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes when I checked the fault code the rear SAM came up. But when I clear the code, it never came back up. Only the SAM-F with that "circuit 61" stays. My best guess is that
the car's wire harness has gone bad and needs to be replace or,
I need to change the battery again with an original battery(I am using a different brand) or,
the SAM-F went bad.
But nothing else have came up other then that. The car runs fine. Tried to look up on "circuit 61" for W203 but came up with nothing.
