Hi there. you didn’t talk about engine flush. flushing the engine
especially a diesel is imperative to stop the contamination of new oil and
prevent the build up of varnish on the cylinders also sludge in the sump.

Cool video. Nice to see someone use the correct oil and filter. Most MB
cars of this era Mann oil and air filter actually are OE. You can buy on
amazon and compare.

also what i would do is clean the the filter housing too with like brake or
throttle body cleaner. that way there the housing has no old, dirty oil.
