I would like to try your method in my Seat Ibiza. But two questions:
-I wonder why you connected the red hose to the white reservoir. Is just to
close the return connection of the reservoir?
-There is a moment when the pump is working without any fluid. Isn’t it
dangerous?
Im new to mercedes and basicaly cars in general, since ive bought my first
one just recently, so any fluid which has MB 345.0 on the label is
acceptable right ? The brand doesnt matter ?
What is the outer diameter size of the clear hose you used to connect to
the return hose from the pump? And what is the inner diameter size of you
hose you used to plug the return hose inlet at the reservoir? Thanks.
Thank you. And it’s not only that Mercedes I take care for to keep them
running nice and reliable.
For this engine Mercedes-Benz recommends coolant fluid- / antifreeze-change
every 10 years or 300.000 km. It’s a 2004 model, so it may be done next
year or later (fluid is in good condition).

Flushes are cool. Knowing its all cleared out is satisfying.
I would say it feels more direct. But smooth, too.
I agree. As you can see in this and other clips, I prefer flushes, if it is
easy to do. And I got good results with that in the past.
I bet that steering felt much smoother after all that.

ist das knurren von der servopumpe, was man am ende hört noch weggegangen?
normalerweise recht es mit abgestellten motor die lenkung zu bewegen.
