Prefilling of filter only at the outside holes, not in the middle hole,
because that already the clean zone of the filter! That may cause dirty
nozzles!
Do you know what the service interval is between replacements?
No, I don’t know which interval is required by Mercedes-Benz. I’m going to
replace the two diesel fuel filters every 30.000 km or every 2 years.
Remove the fuel cap to relieve the pressure and the fuel won’t pour out
like that. I put a turn off valve on my fuel line to make servicing less
messy. Great instructional video.
Thank you for that advice. I’m going to consider that for the next
maintenance service.
