Julius Burrows says:

GREAT VIDEO . . BUT THIS DOES NOT COVER THE 99 MODEL S 500 . . THANKS

Kinston Jin says:

clean up mass air flow sensor first, and if it still doesn’t help, then
check crankshaft position sensor.

giantAsFan says:

Good VID bro how much would that quick job cost @ the dealer?

allboostnojuice says:

No it isn’t.

arneseka6 says:

Also, is it possible to do this without the pneumatic tool?

allboostnojuice says:

Is the check engine light coming on? I would look into a maf sensor also.

arneseka6 says:

So I assume that these are the steps necessary to change the coilpacks as
well? I have some problems with my S500, and I’m starting to suspect that
it could be coils or sparkplug related. The shop just changed the
accelerator pedal, so I’m going to see if that works tomorrow, but I might
try this fix myself if it doesn’t help. Anyway, my car has been shaking
violently when idling, and in the last week it has started shaking and
stuttering while driving, before it flat out dies

vanecasia09 says:

Hi my name is Vanessa I like your video. I was wondering about the spark
plugs, I have a problem but I’m not sure if it is the spark plugs. My truck
sounds like if its going to start but it doesn’t Ii usually have to wait
about 20 – 30 min for the truck to start. Is my problem the spark plugs or
something else?

allboostnojuice says:

@dpk2inc I have the link to the special tool in blog. Look for my blog link
in the video.

allboostnojuice says:

How much did you save?

dpk2inc says:

@allboostnojuice Thanks!

onDishez says:

awesome video thanks, what size is that spark plug removal tool? 17mm? also
is the plug size the same for a cls Benz?

zoltec88 says:

@allboostnojuice hello great vid is it necessary to change the wires or
were those bad wires thx

allboostnojuice says:

@northbeachfilms No problem. Glad I can help. To say thanks check out the
ads on this page.

tunertekkniques says:

Love the video, wats the next best set of wires to use besides the one from
dealer I see u used Busch will there be a difference in performance from
factory wires?

Michael Jamont says:

Did he say 2 plugs per cylinder?

homeboyskilletfresh says:

@onDishez, Yes I do believe the M113 is shared in the cls (W219) and s500.

allboostnojuice says:

@onDishez I think it is 17mm but it has a special bend in it to hook on to
the wire. Check out the link in the video.

allboostnojuice says:

@LUSRIOS Yes I do. It’s a lot of work to do. I would hate for you to get
done and a week or month later find out one or two of the wires have gone
bad. Which they like to fail. I’ve fixed many misfires because of bad
wires. Check out the link to my blog in the description. I’ve posted links
to the special tool and wires on amazon. The wires are on sale now. Half
Off! You’ll save $200. I just checked Advance Auto Parts and their over
$400 for the same set.

allboostnojuice says:

How many people have used this video to do it yourself?

Lockemeister says:

This video is terrific. I now know how to do this job. I bought the Bosch
wire set from Rockauto for a good price. I was wondering why you didn’t say
about how much torque to torque the plugs though. Anyway, I’m going to get
the special spark plug wire wrench. thanks for taking the time to make this
great video.

onillino nimateelah says:

do you have to replace wires also when you changing sparkplug?

sp33dy2410 says:

First of all great video….. couple of questions sorry… first of all
would it be the same procedure for a 2002 S430??? would I be able to take
the spark plugs out by hand, without that air machine??? and last what kind
of spark plugs would you recommend me putting???

benzedo76 says:

after watching your video i think i will try and change them on my own on
my w140 320. great video thanks

Chris H. says:

you got that right 🙂 16 plugs and wires for this puppy!

Peter Smith says:

Great video !! my girl friend has a C230 sport is the plugs on that hard to
do and will I need special tool for that as well.. Please help !!!

allboostnojuice says:

How anyone used this video to replace their spark plugs yet?

555NaKuL says:

Hi, great video, will this be the same for a 99′ S320 ? please help !

flexter83 says:

is it necessary to remove the coil packs just to change the spark plugs?

flap jack says:

sorry to say this but he didnt talk about if the plugs are gaped or not
plus some other thing so I don’t recommend doing it if ur just basing your
work on this vid.. just saying you can really destroy ur motor

allboostnojuice says:

@djrafa1 Yeah that tool helps a ton. I wouldn’t want to do this job without
it. The plug boot seems to melt onto the plug making it a pain to take off.
This tool give you the leverage to take them off.

allboostnojuice says:

@zoltec88 If you have a misfire I would. And your already in there I would
too. Won’t have to do it double and it would be peace of mind.

O3Obvious says:

Thanks for the advie regarding the special wrench. For the new plugs, does
Mercedes recommend using anti-seize compound?

شغف الروح says:

how about the spark plug seal??

allboostnojuice says:

@mrtracy123 Glad I could help. If you run into anything while doing it. PM
me and I’ll try to help as much as possible.

allboostnojuice says:

@vizzle206 Will try to make one soon. Subscribe so you will be notified.
Thanks.

dpk2inc says:

@dpk2inc The special Mercedes tool for pulling off the wires…

allboostnojuice says:

Spark plug seal? Usually there is a crush washer on the spark plug.

Jack London says:

Thanks mate! Good video! And very useful 🙂 I have an S430 same model. I
fix all I can by myself… I had now a stupid task the other day… I had
for sale an S320 and the boot lock got jammed. Central lock did not work…
and so I had to open the boot. The key blade went in but the lock got
jammed. Key turned but did not click… So I was so desperate almost broke
the right tail lights to get into the boot when I forced a bit more the
lock and help with two friends of mine we finally managed!

Jamie Pettis says:

I am learn to do my own repairs. This video taught me a lot. I am assuming
these are the same procedures for an 2003 E320. If not then please direct
me to the correct video. I am also looking for a video to change the oil.

allboostnojuice says:

Yes they are.
