Guess what 0-60 MPH will be with Nitrous. Did 6.8 seconds before. Can it do 5 seconds?
Timing chain/belt guides? Not sure how that engine is set up
Do the purge kit .
Hard to tell 100% from the video,,,,,but phantom lifter noises(if that is actually where the noise is from) on those engines is commonly caused by a bad oil "non return" valve located right above the oil pump. Should be a cheap & easy job for you with your experience.
I've done quite a few of them.
I was literally typing "it could be the purge valve…" as you said it's not the purge valve haha!

Pour some of Dexron/Mercon on that baby and watch it quiet down. When my beater starts doing it I know it's time to change the oil. Unless that's spark jumping like you mentioned, then you know what to do too.
I seen people do bodywork with CEMENT, mind you, this was on a FIFTH world country but it's very doable if you got the right MIX.

Alex I have a question for you about the e55 amg. I torque the two bolts for the amg oil pan to factory specs, including putting a new crush washer on both bolts but they still leak! is this normal?
Sounds like a fuel injector…..
That noise could be a evap or crankcase cylenoid. I had the same sound in some of my mistubishi's, it sounded the same and was was intermittent.

You should paint the horn button red or put an obnoxious 'NOX' graphic on it or something. Nice that it's a sleeper, but it deserves a tiny amount of flaunting. Also, if anyone else drives it, they won't accidentally trip the nitrous system while trying to honk the horn…
Those engine are strong as hell. xD
When you use over 75hp worth of nitrous you should use colder than stock spark plugs. I looked up what NGK calls for in this car and BKR5E were the standard replacement. You should go with an NGK BKR7E which is two heat ranges colder and also close the gap to 0.030".

Got a question as bout 03 e55amg. Has the battery drain problem. An we have changed all the normal stuff suggested on Mercedes world. With no luck. Didn't know if you have any odd ball suggestions.
